Note: Many cron scripts are used for monitoring purposes, especially as cmsprod on cumin. A backup of important crontabs is maintained in CVS. For example, see /cms/cmsprod/hosts/cumin/cmsprod_crontab. This is currently maintained by manually copying the crontab after making changes.

Editing the Wiki

• After you create an account and login to the wiki, send a message to help@hep.wisc.edu to request membership in the AdminGroup. You cannot edit pages without membership in this group.

• Changes should include a short explanation in the Comment field.

• Discussion, TODO and other meta-bits regarding a page should be discussed on Talk subpages.

  • If there isn't already a Talk subpage, create one and add it to the bottom under a horizontal rule.

• When possible, use ServiceTemplate to create new entries.

• External editors may make editing easier; eg http://labix.org/editmoin
